COMING IN JULY
It was sheer joy for me recently to spend time with my old friend the drawing board and design these mascot doll characters for Marianne Design. The goal I had set myself was to design a versatile small doll with a useful wardrobe of clothes and add-on accessories that would allow us crafters to die cut and dress our doll card toppers for a variety of themes throughout the year. I hope you'll be inspired by the assortment of dolls that I've made, a princess, hula girl, sheriff, nurse and explorer but my goodness the possibilities are endless. I'm also delighted that early experiments with felt have proved encouraging and open up the possibilities of making tiny felt dolls for bookmarks, hair accessories, badges, decorations and more.

3 - Die cut the central circle, number and text and glue in position.
4 - Die cut the cowboy, dress the character and attach to card front with foam pads.
5 - Add embellishments to finish.
Hula Girl Tropical Summer Card

Bride & Groom Wedding Card
135mm x 135mm
1 - Cut paper 130mm x 130mm and die cut a circle in the centre of the card.
2 - Die cut the white circle and thread a narrow ribbon through the inner holes. Use foam pads to attach to the pink paper.
3 - Die cut the bride and groom and dress the characters. Arrange the characters inside the circle and attach all pieces to the card front.
