Learn how to adapt this round chipwood storage box into a cute Teddy Bear's Teatime magnetic playset. Magnets are used under the tea set pieces and shelves to keep the pieces in place when the box is closed. All items can be removed for playtime.
Paint the chipwood box with the white paint. Download and print the background pattern paper and cut in a diameter a bit smaller than the box so it fits nicely. Glue in position.
Cut two pieces of greyboard: one 3x3cm and one 3x4cm. Glue the magnets in place.
Cut a piece of the printed paper and cover the greyboard pieces. The magnets will be on the upper surface of the shelf.
Glue the greyboard pieces into the box to make shelves.
Paint the wooden tea set with the white paint and using a clear stamp and the Pacific colour ink pad, decorate the sides.
Glue small pieces of magnetic tape to the base of the wooden tea set pieces.
Cut two pieces of the printed paper. Place magnetic tape on the inside of the box lid and cover them with the paper.
Using the Pacific colour ink pad stamp and distress the outside of the box.
Using the tea set cutting die, emboss only some white cardboard and distress with the ink. Cut out the grouping and glue it on the box lid together with the little wooden letters.
Add the little teddy bear's and enjoy the tea party!
