Poppy Seed Heads Christmas Wreath

- Sponge the Steel Blue Inka Gold onto the styrofoam ring. Buff to shine.

- Screw the spiral hanger in position.

- Sponge Inka Gold Violet onto the poppy bases. Sponge Inka Gold Platinum onto the Poppy star tops.

- Cut off excess stems from poppies but leave a short stalk to attach them to the ring. Save the offcut stems for later to make the angel.

- Make a small hole with scissors, knitting needle or other piercing tool into the styrofoam ring to insert each poppy head. Add a dab of glue to secure. Work around the ring starting with the biggest poppy heads in the centre and the smallest poppy heads around the outer ring edges.

- Position the small battery operated lights in position and attach a large bow. Tie narrow hanging ribbon onto the metal hanger.

- Make a poppy angel. Use a craft knife to split the off cut poppy stems lengthwise and glue into position around a large poppy head. Wrap narrow ribbon around the body. Glue wings onto back. Shape all the stems with scissors and colour with Inka Gold. Attach to the centre of the bow.
